Fall is known as "Spa season" in the spa industry. Pura Wellness Spa, located in the historic Vista of downtown Columbia, SC, wanted to be ready. So, they needed a website refresh.
The project requirements:
So we got to work reorganizing the site, standardizing the use of photography, and adding helpful information about services. The resulting website meets the project requirements, and more. The menu of services is accurate, and organized intuitively. And, content, the blog, and staff listings are easily managed by the spa's internal staff.
What the client had to say...
"Kelly has been a joy to work with from start to completion for the restructure of our website. She listened to our outline of the vision we had for the existing site and took it to heart. She then wielded her magic and brought to life the vision before our eyes.
Kelly will remain on board with us because also she interfuses humor and all around sense of good naturedness in every communication with us. We highly recommend Kelly to anyone looking for a strategy to build their business!"
Renee M., Pura Wellness Spa Manager

I had such a great experience with "Weebly Tricks" this week I just had to blog about it. Here's the story:
Right now I am re-working my site. I want to do more strategy and planning documentation, and I want customers to be able to order a custom strategy or plan straight from my website. My website is built in Weebly (I am a huge fan of Weebly for it's easy management.)
So I added a product to my Weebly store called "Custom Strategy Plan". But when I did it made the "Cart" button show up in my primary navigation menu. Like this:
Then I remembered something I had seen a while back while working with a different site. Back then I was working with a site that wanted to use a custom font not offered in Weebly's regular site editor. I Googled 'how do I install a custom font in Weebly' and I found this tutorial. It was exactly what I needed at the time. So of course, I kept WeeblyTricks.com in mind for future Weebly customizations.
I contacted them yesterday about the 'Cart' customization, and today they installed the fix. And the best part - it was not expensive. When I say not expensive, I mean really not expensive. I mean like the cost of a nice lunch.
I was so pleased I had to write about it. First of all, I am so excited to find new ways to extend the limits of my beloved website building system. But also, I think I have found a new partner to help me hack this thing when needed!
